Current manufacturing and supply chain status in China

Governments have decreased the emergency level. Creating space for normal life and work to slowly get back to normal again. This change has a positive impact on our operations.

Factories resume production

Factories resume production but are still encountering problems with recruiting employees. Due to the lack of labour, many factories are at low occupancy. Also encountering problems in their supply chains with some suppliers not able to resume production yet. Causing a lack of parts, materials or services. Due to the low occupancy and supply chain implications, factories are running at an average of maximum 50%. Creating extra delays and full production schedules. Although difficulties are met, factories are running overtime to ship out orders as soon as possible.

QC inspections and third parties

Where before governmental restrictions were placed to limit third parties from entering the factory grounds, inspectors are now allowed on site. We are able to visit factories again and execute inspections accordingly.

Transportation to factories

Transportation is returning back to normal. Public services run properly at the moment without major limitations. Trains are scheduled at normal times reaching out to the needed destinations. Flight schedules are limited but available to properly fly within China.
